Dougherty Valley HS

Back to Projects

Dougherty Valley is Roebbelen’s largest institutional project to date project. The scope included a mix of 10 one and two-story buildings totaling 349,000 SF on 54 acres. Some of these buildings were wood-framed and others were comprised of a structural steel skeleton with metal stud wall framing. All of the buildings were adorned with glazing elements, a lath and plaster system and thin-brick veneer. One of the buildings was a performing arts building complete with top-of-the-line technological lighting and sound features and a library. There was also a large sports complex including two pools, an outdoor football stadium, two softball fields, two baseball fields, and numerous other site amenities.

The start to finish construction was completed in 16 months; 5 months less than originally budgeted
