Independence Day: Safe Fireworks and Places to View Them

Thursday, June 26th, 2014 in Featured, News

The 4th of July holiday is just around the corner, and that means fireworks! We encourage everyone to be safe with their fireworks and celebration choices this year. Remember, not all counties permit the use of fireworks. If you have your heart set on setting off fireworks of your own this year, first check this website to make sure you are not in violation of any California fireworks laws. Also, make sure your knowledge of fireworks safety is up-to-date. There are many sites dedicated to fireworks safety, including the National Fire Protection Association. We hope everyone makes safe, smart decisions with holiday celebration choices this year.

If you are looking for 4th of July (and fireworks) celebrations to attend, there are many options to choose from:

Movie at the Ballpark – July 3rd

Arden Arcade’s 13th Annual Parade

Carmichael’s pancake breakfast and 56th Annual Elks Club Parade in Fair Oaks

Rancho Cordova’s 4th of July Celebration at Hagan Park
