Kennedy High School Performing Arts

Back to Projects

The Kennedy Performing Arts Center is a 13,775 square foot masonry block and steel superstructure auditorium. This center is an upgrade from the school’s previous performance venue; the 75-seat Little Theatre. The new 465-seat, state-of-the-art auditorium will be used for music and drama classes as well as allow for much larger productions, including musicals.

Among the facility’s features are theatrical lighting and lighting controls, a digital sound system, a lighting loft, control, sound and ticket booths, dressing rooms, a large backstage area that can be used for building sets, a motorized projection screen and an orchestra pit, located beneath removable seats near the stage.
