DID YOU KNOW: SCM has exclusive Members Only Hours on Sundays from 11:00 am – Noon AND Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Come to the Museum to meet other members, schedule play dates, and make new friends!

On May 6th, we are asking you to participate in a huge and historic event for our region, the BIG Day of Giving, where, over a 24 hour period from midnight to 11:59pm, Sacramento Children’s Museum will join with 400 other nonprofits to try to raise $1 million and engage 5000 donors in the region! Stay tuned for more information about this historic event!

 

EARTH DAY @ SCM!

Save the (Earth) Date! From 11 am to 2 pm, on Tuesday, April 22nd, Sacramento Children’s Museum is partnering with Assemblyman Ken Cooley to host an Earth Day Celebration! Free activities outside from 11 am to 2 pm, and free admission for children all day inside! Come share your love for the beautiful blue-green planet we call home!

 

BEARY SPECIAL CINCO DE MAYO DANCE PARTY!

You’re invited to attend SCM’s Beary Special Cinco de Mayo Dance Party on Friday May 2nd from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. This is event for children with special needs, their friends and family! All kids are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear to dance the night away. There will be decorations, music, light refreshments, and plenty of museum play!

There is no charge for admission, however we do ask that you please RSVP in advance to rsvp@sackids.org, or call 916-638-7225, ext 100.

Please join us for our first Inspire! Luncheon, celebrating women and mothers! Each spring, Sacramento Children’s Museum will honor a woman who has earned our respect and admiration for the work she has done to make a positive impact on the lives of young children in the Sacramento community.

The afternoon will include delicious food, specially selected vendors, and a raffle, with each table decorated by a different Table Designer! All proceeds will benefit the educational programs at Sacramento Children’s Museum.

SPONSOR LEO’S BIRTHDAY BASH!

Preparations are underway for Leo’s Birthday Bash, a fundraiser for Sacramento Children’s Museum! This event, comprised of an auction and family carnival, will celebrate our third anniversary and nearly a quarter of a million visitors to the Museum! This event will take place at Sacramento Children’s Museum on Saturday, August 2, 2014. It would be greatly appreciated if your business could help by donating an item we can auction (a tangible item, gift certificates, or service!).

When you make a donation to support Leo’s Birthday Bash, you and/or your business will be recognized in our bi-weekly newsletter, annual report, auction website, and on the event website.
