Tracy HS Cafeteria and Library

Back to Projects

This project was delivered under a Lease-Leaseback delivery method. The projects were being completed on an operating campus which is more than 70 years old. The constricted site access and the aged underground utilities provided some staging challenges and were the focus of our team throughout the preconstruction and construction phases. The team capitalized on BIM technology to identify and mitigate potential structural and MEP conflicts.

The new two-story 48,155 SF library/classroom building includes a dedicated lab with 34 student computers, staff offices, meeting rooms, 18 classrooms, restrooms and storage areas. The 31,072 SF cafeteria/classroom building includes a serving area, main dining area, food court, kitchen, teachers lounge, snack bar, restrooms, dining shelter, classrooms (music and food service lab), storage areas and faculty offices.
