Kaiser Modesto IR Suite

Upgrading the Suite for Key Medical Procedures

Interventional Radiologists Receive More Efficient Space, New Equipment

In a hospital’s interventional radiology (IR) suite, doctors are able to gain access to the internal structures of the body through very small incisions. The procedures often utilize medical imaging equipment that allows the healthcare provider to see what is occurring inside the body. At Kaiser Permanente’s Modesto hospital, the IR suite needed to be modernized and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment – and the work had to be done while there was no disruption to these important procedures.

The project included:
• Renovation of a 2,500 SF interventional radiology suite
• Restroom renovation
• Installation of new IR equipment
• Installation of lockers and systems
